Temporary Position Available for a Records Analyst in Seattle, WA



We are looking for a strong records management professional to work a short term position at Sound Transit. This is your opportunity to bring your talent and expertise to the following role:


• Provide support for offsite storage service.

• Provides analysis and consulting, proposes solutions, and manages projects related to records management.

• Provides support for development and maintenance of the agency's records management system.

Preferred Skills and Abilities:


Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Sciences or related field with 2 years of intermediate experience in Records Management and Information Governance or equivalent combination of education and experience

Demonstrated aptitude in applying information governance and records management principles to a growing organization.

Understanding and experience of ARMA records management principals (GARP, Inactive Storage, Active Records, Retention Schedules, etc )

Demonstrated experience applying information structure (classification, taxonomy, content hierarchy, and/or migration) and information governance to ECM/ECRM and tools for unstructured repositories in SharePoint.

Work in collaboration with Information Technology division to create sites, InfoPath forms and apply the retention requirements to data in SharePoint and other information silos.
Provide consulting, advice and support to assigned projects for internal departments/divisions regarding project development, design and implementation, maintenance, management, protection and storing of electronic records.


Demonstrated project management experience

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Demonstrated focus of detail, analytical and problem solving skills

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
