Description

JOB DESCRIPTION
The individual in this role will work directly with other IPC business units supporting and assisting with the management of both physical and electronic records. Performs analytical and interpretive tasks to identify and discover records. Executes procedures to ensure compliance and consistency with records. Provides records management direction and training to personnel in other IPC departments. Reviews and updates the IPC retention schedule in accordance with changes. Updates processes and procedures to ensure continued compliance.
 
REQUIRED SKILLS
Knowledge of:
Microsoft Office Suite Microsoft SharePoint Prefer: Records Management Software
Skills in:
Demonstrate skill in clearly communicating verbally and in writing. Basic Word skills including applying templates; formatting; editing; and creating tables. Basic Excel skills including creating workbooks; entering; sorting; formatting; filtering; and applying formulas to data
Ability to:
Ability to research information based on customer requests
 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prefer: Additional training in Records Management processes and procedures.
Experience:
  • 2 years working in an corporate office environment
  • Prefer: 2 or more years working in records management in a corporate environment.
Licenses & Certifications
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record based on driving requirements for the position.
  • Prefer : CRM Candidate or CRM certification
 
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Requires physical ability to bend, kneel, and twist frequently while handling boxes and other records materials. Job requires climbing ladders, reaching above the shoulder to retrieve information, and the ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
