Job Summary:
Job Summary:
The
City seeks to implement an agency-wide Records Management Program. The Project Coordinator will be critical in getting the program up and running by working with
the various departments to put in place practices that will improve
records management and organizational efficiency throughout the City.
Salary: $24.84 - $29.68 per hour / $4,306 -
$5,145 per month
(Management/Non-Represented position)
Excellent benefits include medical, dental and

compensation plans. Employee shares
12.5% of the medical premium.
Education:
Associate’s degree in office management, business,
or a related field. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Experience:
Three or more years of
increasingly responsible work experience in a public or municipal work
environment, including records management experience.
Knowledge and proficiency
with Microsoft word processing, databases and spreadsheet applications, with
ability to gain a working knowledge of the City’s Laserfiche Enterprise Content
Management System.
Other combinations of
education, experience, and training will be evaluated on an individual basis.
Other preferred experience:
· Organization, time and project management
. .Principles, practices and techniques of records management systems, including records retention laws
· State and local laws and regulations regarding public records
· Archival procedures for document cataloging, indexing, and retrieval
· Laserfiche ECM system
· Policies, functions and responsibilities of the City
· Progressive approach to internal and external customer service
· Indexing and cross-indexing principles and techniques
· Current office practices, procedures and equipment
· Word processing, spreadsheet and database management software
· Correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation and vocabulary
· Basic research methods
· Scanning equipment, including basic maintenance and troubleshooting of errors
LICENSE / CERTIFICATE
REQUIREMENTS:
Valid Washington State
driver’s license.
Certified Records Manager
(CRM) is preferred.
